Steinbeis Advanced Risk Technologies and EU-VRi are looking for skilled and motivated
Researcher in the area of Risk & Resilience
(full-time or part-time)
for our projects dealing with:
- integrated risk management
- resilience of critical infrastructures
- emerging risks
- risk management in industry (RBI, RCM, HAZOP, HSE...)
The applicants' profiles to be considered are:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Materials or Chemical Engineers
- Software Engineers (IT), with engineering skill
- Risk/Resilience professionals (incl. social sciences)
S uccessful candidate should:
- have an academic degree (researchers) or be working towards it
- have knowledge and/or interest in IT technologies
- possess analytical skills and be motivated to learn and cope with new research issues
- be fluent in English (TOEFL, GRE or other), knowledge of German and/or other languages will be of advantage
Successful candidate will be offered:

The work will be performed in the Steinbeis/EU-VRi offices in Germany and may include frequent business traveling.

Project Manager / Researcher for training activities
dealing with:
- Overall administration of the projects
- Study organization for master students
- Conduction of training within European and industry projects
- Communication and marketing strategy
- Development of the academic network and cooperation
- Quality management

The candidates should:
- Possess basic academic and/or office management related education
- Be motivated to learn and cope with new, non-standard problems
- Be able to work in a highly competitive and innovative working environment (international network of people, use of collaborative tools) and to respect the international standards of business communication and management
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken (certification on TOEFL, GRE or other comparable test is an advantage), knowledge of German and/or other EU languages can be of benefit

We are looking for a Student-Assistant interested in the Risk and Resilience.
Your role:
- Assist in day-to-day activities of our Risk/Resilience related, mainly EU projects
- Attend project meetings
- Carry out research activities
Who you are:
- Has a good general education background
- Knowledge/Experience in the area of Risk/Resilience
- Good working knowledge of English language
